A NEW YEAR WITHOUT RESOLUTIONS
A CHOICE BETWEEN LISTENING AND PLANNING
This year, I didn’t make a list of resolutions. I didn’t sit down and decide who I needed to become or map out exactly how the year should go step by step. What I did instead was much quieter, I made a commitment to listen to myself and prioritize that voice in the choices I make each day.
The things that matter to me are still there. What has changed is the way I’m choosing to relate to those as priorities. I’m no longer forcing structure around them or trying to manage them into place on a specific timeline. Instead, I’m moving through the moments as they come with awareness. Prioritizing micro choices which feed into the macro plan.
QUESTIONS THAT ARE GUIDING ME
For the past few weeks I’ve been asking myself very simple, very honest questions throughout moments in my day.
What do I need right now?
Is this small choice actually serving me?
Does saying yes fill my well, or does it take more than I realize?
These questions have become my guide, and they feel more grounding than any detailed plan I could have written in preparation for January 1. Moving through the start of the year this way has ushered it in with calmness. There’s something deeply soothing about knowing who you are, recognizing where you are, and trusting that you don’t need to rush to get where you’re going. There’s no urgency here. Just a quiet sense of knowing.
Grounded Intention for Life and Work
That feeling is influencing how I’m showing up in my personal life, and it’s also shaping how I’m leading Thara Sacra right now. As a brand, we’ve always been intentional. But this year, that intention feels more refined. Less about adding and more about choosing. More focus on quality, coherence, and how things actually feel to live with, not just how they look or sound.
Listening to myself has reminded me that the way we lead our lives matters. The way we make decisions ripples outward. When I’m grounded, the people around me feel it. When my choices come from clarity instead of pressure, everything moves with more ease.
Moving Through the Year with Connection
For me, this year isn’t about pushing forward or proving anything. It’s about staying connected to what matters, honoring that connection day by day, and letting it shape where I go next. That’s how I’m beginning the year. And it’s the energy guiding Thara Sacra as we move forward.

A moisturizing and soothing massage balm for the scalp that is a sacred and meditative gift to self. Combined with our Transcend Chakra essential oil synergy it is stimulating and activating for both the Crown Chakra and scalp. The balm melts into oil on contact with skin so it’s easy to apply and glides smoothly on the scalp.
An uplifting and ethereal blend, Transcend helps to elevate our consciousness and connect more freely to spirit. This aroma also helps to ground and soothe us allowing us to be grateful and at peace with the knowledge that all life is interconnected.
Directions: Take a small amount of product out of the jar and rub between fingertips to melt to oil. Massage deeply into the scalp for 5-10 minutes. Leave on for at least 20 minutes. For a deeper treatment, leave on overnight. Shampoo with your normal natural shampoo and conditioner as needed. Recommended use: 1-2 times per week or as needed. Note: Both Shea Butter and Babassu Oil melt on contact with skin and have low melting points. To keep solid during warmer weather store in a cool, dark place, or in the refrigerator.

Shea Nut Butter: Moisturizing and soothing. Rich in vitamins E & A this oil doesn’t leave the hair greasy and can be easily washed off.
Babassu Oil: Moisturizing and nourishing. Rich in vitamin E and antioxidants this oil is lightweight so it won’t weigh down and cling to the roots of your hair like coconut oil.
Jojoba Oil: Moisturizing and hydrating. Similar to skin’s natural sebum this oil absorbs quickly and is easy and light on the scalp.
Argan Oil: Moisturizing and nourishing. Rich in vitamin E and antioxidants this oil absorbs quickly and is non-greasy
Sapote Oil: Nourishing and soothing. Rich in vitamins A & C this oil is light and non-greasy. Provides relief from dandruff and scalp itching.
Cedarwood Essential Oil : Grounding and purifying. Cedarwood helps to clear negative thoughts and emotions allowing us to connect more freely to spirit. Cedarwood helps to soothe the scalp.
Myrtle Essential Oil: Expansive and protective. Myrtle protects and purifies the auric field while helping us access higher vibrations and connect with the divine. Myrtle helps to invigorate the scalp.
Rosemary Essential Oil: Uplifting and protective. Rosemary has cleansing and purifying properties and helps us remember we are sacred beings connected to all. Rosemary helps to stimulate the scalp and supports hair growth.
Lotus Essential Oil: Soothing and calming. Lotus, a symbol of enlightenment, is an ethereal scent that aids in spiritual connection and elevation of consciousness. Lotus helps to balance the scalp.
