THE CONFIDENCE OF EXPERIENCE
Reflections on the Solar Plexus and Personal Power
Over the course of my life, I've held roles that required constant decision-making. Some decisions were straightforward. Others required making a choice without knowing exactly how things would unfold.
What I've learned is that waiting for perfect clarity is rarely an option.
At some point, a choice has to be made.
Experience teaches you how to gather information, assess risk, and move forward. It also teaches you that not every decision will unfold exactly as expected. The ability to adjust is often just as important as the decision itself.
Developing Inner Authority
One of the things I appreciate more now than I did earlier in life is the value of developing your own point of view.
There is no shortage of advice, opinions, and competing priorities. Learning to listen, evaluate, and then make a decision that aligns with your values and objectives is an important skill.
Over time, that process becomes more refined.
You spend less energy second-guessing and more energy moving forward with intention.
The Energy of the Solar Plexus
When I think about the Solar Plexus, I think about our relationship with personal power and the choices that shape our lives.
The willingness to participate actively in our own lives rather than remaining on the sidelines waiting for certainty, permission, or ideal circumstances.
Confidence develops through experience. Not because every outcome can be predicted, but because you learn that you are capable of navigating what comes next.
